As a therapist I feel one of the most critical parts of my job is providing a space for safety, healing and trust to begin. I am a client centered therapist and I love what I do. I believe strongly in an integrative mental health and medicine approach to healing.
No one heals, grows or learns the same. That is why there are seasons for different therapies and times for healing in life. In our clinic we respect each persons point of view and the speed in which they desire to grow.
We specialize in trauma and other issues such as coping mechanisms that block our ability to lead the life that we want. As a team we can work together to help you achieve what you want in your life.
I am trained in EMDR, lifespan integration, mind-body bridging, and other forms of therapy including QEEG Brain mapping and neuro-feedback. I also look at nutritional elements and other integrative approaches to help the whole person heal. I feel that comfort and trust drive healing. There are many misconceptions about being able to live a thriving life while struggling with depression, anxiety, even horrific abuse. I have seen and helped others get to the healing point that they wish to achieve. That is why I do what I do – to open up a space for people to regain hope in healing free of self judgment.
